Recognising the importance of mental health, we have curated specialised programs to address the unique challenges that men face, such as career stress, relationships and societal views of showing emotion. Our unique retreat provides a supportive environment where men can relax, explore and enhance their mental and emotional wellbeing through tailored activities and expert guidance.
Men’s Wellness Escapes
Here at Hills Farm, we know the importance of getting men to talk. Our patriarchal society encourages men to have a ‘stiff upper lip ‘and not to show vulnerability for fear of being considered weak. Socio-economic factors are increasing, such as cost of living, energy crisis, and job redundancies, all impacting relationships and creating health issues. This creates a huge mental burden.
Male coping mechanisms are often keeping quiet and just getting on with it. However, it is healthier in the long term to ask for help to avoid depression and associated illness.
Male suicide has been called the silent epidemic.
- Males are 2.9 times more likely than women to commit suicide.
- 75% of all deaths in the UK are male.
- 1 male will commit suicide every 2 hours.

On our Men’s Wellness Escapes, we want men to feel able to offload in a supportive, non-judgmental way and learn tools and techniques to support themselves when they cannot cope.
We have created a ‘man-friendly’ escape where they can relax in the heart of nature, walk, talk around the campfire and pursue men-friendly activities.
Learn about nutrition and its effect on their physical and mental health. We can signpost them to agencies, such as Numan, that can offer supplemental support for their symptoms.
